Admission Requirements in Bachelor of Business Management

 

Eligibility Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply for the Bachelor of Business Management program:

  • Completion of +2 or any equivalent level of education from a board, institution, or university recognized by Tribhuvan University (TU).
  • Attainment of at least a second division in the proficiency or intermediate level.
  • Fulfillment of all the application form requirements for appearing in the entrance examination.

Entrance Exam:

For admission to the Bachelor of Business Management program at Tribhuvan University or its affiliated academies, students need to fill out the application form, providing detailed personal information and past academic records.

The candidate selection process consists of three phases:

1. Written Exam (CMAT Test):

   The Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) is conducted by the Faculty of Management (FOM). It assesses students' verbal ability, quantitative techniques, logical reasoning, and general awareness. The format of the test is similar to the SAT exam.

2. Individual Presentation:

   Each candidate is required to give an individual presentation as part of the selection process.

3. Interview:

   An interview is conducted by the concerned college to further evaluate the candidates.

After completing all the examinations, a merit list is published based on the following criteria:

  • 60% of the total marks obtained in the CMAT exam
  • 30% of the total marks obtained in the +2 or equivalent level
  • 10% for the individual presentation and interview

Admissions are granted to students according to the merit list.
