Dr. S. K. Yadav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Mahendra Morang Adarsh Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, Biratnagar, Nepal. He is a distinguished researcher in condensed matter physics, with specialization in the structural, electronic, optical, and thermo-physical properties of solids, semiconductors, and liquid alloys using theoretical and computational approaches such as density functional theory (DFT). His research work focuses on modeling transport, surface, and phonon-related properties in metallic systems, nanomaterials, and low-dimensional materials, contributing significantly to advances in materials science. With about a decade of experience, he has guided five Ph.D. scholars and actively contributed to teaching, research supervision, and the advancement of physics education and research in Nepal.
